Dear Treasured Parent, 

I welcome you to a phenomenal 2020 of exponential increase and dynamic progress. The year is pregnant with unlimited possibilities and we will walk into the reality of amazing manifestations by God’s special grace. 

I am particularly excited about the amazing progress that awaits us all this year! 

The holidays are fast winding up, and we are ready to put in our best towards serving you better. We eagerly anticipate working with you to unleash the greatness in our treasures. 

I’m excited about this new term: 

– As part of ensuring that we serve you better, the CCTV cameras in each class have been upgraded and can be monitored from anywhere in the world.

– Our library/computer room is set up to help us build on the ICT goals we set for the pupils, and build their interest in reading. Starting this term, pupils will be able to borrow books from the library and read more extensively on their own. After all, leaders are readers!

Talking about leadership, we will be having our very first Prefect Elections this term. The children will get to vote and be voted for, in a practical demonstration of the classes and lessons that they have had about democracy and the electoral process in Nigeria. 

Pupils will get to draw up and present manifestos, hold debates, use campaign posters etc. to convince their fellow students to vote for them in an independent candidacy democratic system, as they live out the reality of free and fair elections. We look forward to seeing them develop practical communication and leadership skills that they can go on to use in life. 

On Love Day, the children get to exchange gifts and visit an orphanage, learning about empathy, and forgiveness as they build better relationships with their peers. 

I also look forward to having you in on our Open Days to track your child’s progress and draw up a more effective Individual Learning Plan for your child. And during our excursions, we get to step into the world to pick practical lessons and ways to apply to use the lessons we learned in class. 

Welcome to an amazing term in an extraordinary year! See you all on Monday (13th January, 2020). It is going to be an astounding year and term.
